Mike & Anne have stayed at and reviewed 362 glamping camps & ecoresorts across 91 countries. They used that knowledge and experience to write "Comfortably Wild," the first guide to glamping in North America, which went on to win a Lowell-Thomas Journalism Award and earned them the AGA Pioneer Award in 2024. They are also honored to serve on the American Glamping Association Board of Advisors.
In 2020, the Howards launched their “Glamping Consulting & Creative Services” to help more companies succeed in this highly competitive landscape. Budding glampgrounds, established resorts, and tent manufacturers have worked with the Howards for their multifaceted skillset as photographers, writers, social media storytellers, and hospitality consultants to improve their guest experience and share it with the world.
